¿Cómo saber si un adjetivo es largo?

Cuenta las sílabas:
  • • ex-PEN-sive (3 sílabas) = LARGO
  • • im-POR-tant (3 sílabas) = LARGO
  • • pro-FES-sio-nal (4 sílabas) = LARGO
Regla práctica:
  • • 3+ sílabas → MORE/MOST
  • • Terminados en -ful, -less, -ing, -ed → MORE/MOST
  • • Participios → MORE/MOST

Adjetivos irregulares: good, bad, far

¡Estas formas hay que memorizarlas!

Los adjetivos irregulares NO siguen las reglas normales. Cambian completamente:

Reglas de ortografía especiales

1. Adjetivos terminados en -e

Solo se añade -r (comparativo) y -st (superlativo)

Ejemplos:

En contexto empresarial:

2. Consonante + Y

Cambia y → i y luego añade -er / -est

Error 1: Mezclar reglas de adjetivos cortos y largos

❌ Incorrecto:
